IT'S NOT ABOUT A BUILDING, AND IT'S NOT ABOUT US.

There are those rare moments in life when you have the opportunity to leave your mark on eternity. This is one of them.

It's certainly true that when this project has come to completion and a new church building stands alongside our current one, all of us who enjoy worship and fellowship here today will have many more options and a more suitable environment for those vital activities. But that's not why we're here.

Far more important is this: we will have created a place where generations of people who desperately need to know God will be drawn to Him and grow in their walk with Him for years to come.

Long after all of us have left this world to be with the Lord, men, women and children will continue to be added to His Kingdom because of the work you undertake today. You are putting something in motion that will not cease until He returns for His people.

As you consider your role in this undertaking, know that God Stands ready to use you in ways you can only imagine. Each one of us is being presented with an opportunity today to let God begin to stretch us. Only you can determine the extent to which you'll answer His call.

To help you understand the role God has for you in this great adventure and as you consider everything that lies ahead, we ask that you pray without ceasing and that you devote time to His Word. Our goal is for the body of Eastside to be a vessel for God to accomplish His perfect and pleasing will here in southern Indiana. Only through immersion in prayer and the Word can each of us truly discern His will for us.

Exciting days lie ahead. Even as you read these words, lives are waiting to be transformed through the work we will do together. It's time to begin...
