In an effort to aggressively connect more individuals to God, Eastside Christian Church has decided to expand their facilities. The current building of 22,000 square feet has served the ministry well, but as growth has continued it has become obvious that more space is needed. The theme of “Body Building” was chosen to point us to our ultimate purpose, building the body of Jesus Christ!
In the spring of 2008 the church family committed more than $1,500,000 of giving over a three year period above and beyond their regular budgeted offerings. This went a long way in beginning this massive project – an additional 36,000 square feet with a total price tag of approximately $6,000,000.
The new building will physically connect to our current structure and add an 840 seat state-of-the-art auditorium, a large greeting area complete with a coffee café and fireside room, worship spaces for our early childhood and elementary children, a few multifunction classrooms, and a large office complex for our staff. Some of our current facility will also undergo a remodeling to better fit our needs.
