Our Purpose
We are delighted to have your child as part of our Early Childhood program. It is our desire that your child’s stay will be a happy one and that you will be able to attend worship and an Adult Bible Fellowship class knowing that your child is receiving the best of care.
Our mission is to accept all children into a safe and nurturing environment that allows them to experience God’s love through Bible stories, songs, and activities while their parents continue their spiritual growth through adult activities.
Classes
Sunday, 9:00 & 10:30 AM
Infants/Crawlers
We provide excellent childcare for our babies in our nursery area. Our desire is to love and pray for our babies so that they will begin to learn that God loves them from our loving volunteers. They will also be introduced to some simple Bible songs and interactive play.
Toddlers and Two’s
Biblical lessons are taught to our toddlers on their level. Lessons are divided into monthly themes and the curriculum is mainly musical. The teacher and helpers bring the children to the table and give each child an object to enjoy while singing a song about God and His Word.
Three’s – Five’s
The teacher uses a Bible based curriculum that centers around monthly themes. Each lesson includes a Bible story, memory verse, learning activities, craft, music, and movement time.
Wednesday Night Live (September-May)
The first week of the month during adult Wednesday Night Live worship service the Early Childhood ministry offers nursery care for babies up to twenty-four months.
The preschoolers will meet for a worship time including a Bible lesson, craft, songs and activities.
Parents
Check-in and Security
Greeters are available to assist all those who enter the Early Childhood area. They can help you find the appropriate room for your child, and assist you with the sign-in process. You will receive a security number. That number will appear on the sermon screen if you are needed. It will also be used as a secure method of picking up your child.
Get Involved
We ask that all members and regular attendees that have children in the Early Childhood program become a part of this vital ministry. We have a variety of areas for service that exist both in and out of the classroom and service times. Please see one of the Early Childhood Directors to see what opportunities would fit your gifts and passion.
