Connecting to God Seminars
The “G” in the GPS Connections is our connection to God. Jesus told us that we are to love God with all our heart, mind, soul and strength. How can we really make that happen on a regular basis?
The foundation of that connection should be our corporate worship experience. The author of Hebrews encourages his readers to not neglect meeting together on a weekly basis. It is in worship that we reaffirm God’s place in our daily lives. We establish again in front of Him and our friends that we have no other gods but the True God. We are encouraged by songs of praise, by the preaching of God’s Word, and through observing the Lord’s Supper we proclaim Jesus’ death until He returns.
Eastside Christian Church has always been a church that studied God’s Word. Almost anytime His people gather, study or devotion occurs. Our Connecting to God Seminars will provide you with an opportunity for concentrated study. Instead of broken in small segments spread out over weeks, these seminars will give you a chance to study a topic deeply in one setting. Easier to focus. Easier to learn. Easier to remember.
There are over forty opportunities for you to participate in the Connecting to God Seminars. Look over
the list and pick the topics of interest to you. We encourage our members to select at least four hours of seminars during the coming year.
